Who is Behind the Adopt from Afar Project
Deniz Arsan
Born in Ankara, Turkey. Grew up in İzmir, studied in Middle East Technical University & did MA in Sheffield Hallam University. After a long career in the private sector, she had decided to leave the city and settle in the countryside around Izmir.
Mother of more than 20 cats and a dog, all rescued from streets of Turkey.
Loves and tries to care for all kinds of animals and believes in, “respecting the right to life of all living beings.”

Writer, Journalist and Media Specialist
Born in Ankara, Turkey, lived in Madrid, Spain for 10 years. Studied at the Middle East Technical University.

She is a guardian angel who has been helping stray animals for many years.

Kittelfdora is a mesmerizing online fictional blog that unveils a captivating universe filled with compassion, magic, and extraordinary creatures known as Kittelfdorians.
Long ago, Mother Nature, distraught by human cruelty towards animals, sent them far across the universe to an enchanting Galaxy, called Odora. Here, each species found solace on different planets, and a group of cats discovered a world inhabited by elves, forest fairies and dragons. United by their love of nature and their kindred spirits, they named their newfound planet Kittelfdora. They thrived on this planet, and over time created new species that evolved from cats and the native inhabitants of the planet. But Kittelfdorians have retained the curious nature of their feline genes, and their most distinctive trait remained as to wonder, explore and learn. In order to discover new worlds and travel farther than ever before, scientists and engineers of Kittelfdorians have created a portal that allows them to travel between different worlds with the help of magical engineering. And through their deep and fascinating exploration of the unknown, they crossed paths with mankind once again.
Kittelfdora’s fictional stories revolve around the courageous Kittelfdorians, who join forces with Earth’s animal activists to protect and rescue animals in need. The Kittelfordians demonstrate their extraordinary abilities, unity and dedication to a worthy cause as they journey through exciting adventures.
In parallel, Kittelfdora aims to make a tangible impact on the lives of stray cats in Turkey. Through a unique NFT Collection, these charming characters come to life, capturing hearts and contributing to the sustainability of both Kittelfdora’s blog and the Adopt from Afar project, which focuses on digitally adopting real-life rescue dogs.
